Passenger watchdog TravelWatch’s next public meeting takes place tomorrow (Saturday) at the Villa Marina when there will be updates on air and sea issues.
Guest speakers will be Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer and Anthony Smith, chief executive of Transport Focus.
Mr Harmer MHK will talk about sea services developments while Mr Smith will brief the audience on how ’Brexit’ may affect passenger rights.
Transport Focus is the statutory watchdog for passenger and road travel in Great Britain.
Mr Smith is also a member of the Civil Aviation Authority consumer panel.
The meeting at the Villa Marina starts at 10am with doors open from 9.30am.
TravelWatch has invited the charity Bridge the Gap to make a short presentation on the difficulties and challenges facing passengers travelling to and from hospitals in the North West.
There will be the usual opportunity for questions and for engaging with the speakers during the interval.
