Planting a seed of friendship between generations

in East

Members of Pulrose Youth Club’s Teatime Club presented their decorated jars planted with flower seeds and some chrysanthemums to residents of the nearby sheltered accommodation complex at the bottom of Heather Crescent.

Both the children and adults enjoyed meeting up on Monday and there are plans for the children to return every few months to further develop links.

The Teatime Club is for children in school years two and three (ages six to eight).

Youth worker in charge is Jayne Adams and assistant youth worker is Millie Wright.
